Climate Silence at the Abyss

“Our best scientists tell us insistently that a calamity is unfolding, that the life-support systems of the Earth are being damaged in ways that threaten our survival. Yet in the face of these facts we carry on as usual. This bizarre situation, in which we have become potent enough to change the course of the Earth yet seem unable to regulate ourselves…” is the focus of four monthly workshops led by Dr. Cleo Kearns, Rev. Gregory Wilson and Helen Wilson at the Commons @ BALE, South Royalton. The first of the programs is Sat., May 20 from 10 AM-1 PM. The hoped-for outcome of these programs is an invitation into a new living narrative that creates the foundation of another story where humans develop a mutually sustaining and enhancing relationship with earth and all the life systems of the planet.
