Kids and Racism
Talking about race and racism can be difficult, especially with children, but that does not mean we shouldn’t have these conversations. Come to a discussion group that was developed by the Peace & Justice Center to address the impact of racism on our children. It is designed to help people discuss racial issues with children in a meaningful and age-appropriate way. It includes resources, discussion, and role-playing. Led by Zymora Davinchi and Jade Walker, this three-part series runs Saturdays, Feb. 10, 17, 24 from 11 AM-1 PMat Kimball Library, Randolph. Sponsored by Peace & Justice Center, Kimball Public Library, and Focus on Racial Equality.
